What a magic combination – Banana, Cacao and Maca! But seriously, I know I might be starting off a little banana heavy but this is so good that I had to share it. A wonderful friend of mine (who is also a mum) instagrammed a similar recipe a few weeks back and this is my spin.
2 peeled Frozen Bananas
2 tsp of Cacao Nibs
1 tsp Maca Powder
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
About 1/3 cup Milk – add a dash at a time so you don’t accidentally turn it into a smoothie.
Throw all the ingredients in the nutribullet cup and buzz until mixed. You might have to take it off and shake it once or twice or add a bit more milk to get things to mix properly but when you get it right it is sooooo good and perfect for mums trying to lose the baby weight.
Obviously if you have a nut allergy you can leave out the peanut butter but I feel like it adds a little extra something, both in terms of flavour and it makes the texture lovely and smooth.
